Eclectic Victorian
This home had been abandoned for 5 years prior to the client purchasing it. There was only one small wood burning stove and it had the original wiring. We opened the floorplan on the main level and preserved its history. A box window seat was added to the front living room area. We structurally reinforced the foundation and updated the electrical and plumbing. A new heating system was installed as well as energy efficient windows. The client loved reusing items from torn down historic buildings such as the soapstone sink from the Wilma Theater. Sustainable and “green” products were used whenever possible as well as local craftspeople.
